Translation of Testimony Videos and Atomic Bomb Memoirs

We are currently in the process of translating testimony videos and atomic bomb memoirs into different languages.

We are currently working to translate our pamphlets, survivor testimony videos, and atomic bomb memoirs into different languages so that we may convey the realities of the bombing to as many people as possible.

Hibakusha Testimony Video Translation

At current, we have translated the contents our testimony videos into 23 different languages which are available to watch with subtitles, as well as dubbed versions in English, Chinese, Korean, all of which are available to watch in the viewing room of our Library. They are also posted online at the Global Network and are available to watch for free around the world.

Atomic Bomb Memoir Translation

At current, we have translated nine volumes of atomic bomb memoirs into 24 different languages which are available in the Library of the Memorial Hall, below in PDF format, and, just like the testimony videos, are available to read for free around the world on the Global Network page.

In addition, you can also find atomic bomb memoirs mentioned in our Special Exhibitions in English, Chinese, and Korean on the Global Network page.

Authors rights for the atomic bomb memoirs belong to the Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims. With the exception of duplication for personal use or use in excerpt which is protected by the Copyright Act, unauthorized use, duplication, reprinting, sales, alteration, or printed distribution is strictly prohibited. If you wish to use any of our materials, please contact the Memorial Hall in advance.
