A-bomb Memoirs Reading - August 5 & 6, 2025
Update: 2025/07/28
As Hiroshima hosts the Peace Memorial Ceremony and various peace-related events, we invite visitors to join the A-bomb Memoirs Reading sessions to reflect on the reality of the atomic bombing, honor the victims, and pray for peace.
These sessions feature personal memoirs written by atomic bomb survivors and their families, along with A-bomb poems. This year, for the first time, readings will also be held at Kamiyacho Shareo, a major downtown venue, in addition to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Everyone is welcome. No reservation is required, and participation is free.
