We are collecting memoirs of the survivors to convey throughout Japan and the world and on to future generations the tragedy of the bombing and the yearning for peace that it instilled in the people it affected.
Memoirs will be open to the public. The data of each memoir will be entered into a database that visitors can search.

We are looking for memoirs in any of the following categories:

1. Diaries, journals, or letters written about the Hiroshima or Nagasaki atomic bombings by persons who survived them
2. Stories about victims' experiences in the bombing written by bereaved families or friends
3. Books or booklets that contain the above

Memoirs should be suitable for public release: there are no restrictions regarding date written or format (handwritten, typewritten, word-processed, printed, etc.).
Manuscript paper, stationery, and notebook paper are all acceptable.
If possible, please include name, gender, address, and age at the time of the bombing.
