This room is for viewing the following materials in the National Memorial Hall collection.

  1. Over 100 thousand memoirs by A-bomb survivors
  2. Survivors telling their stories on videotape
  3. Photographs of Hiroshima before and after the bombing
  4. Film taken in Hiroshima immediately after the bombing

Information about A-bomb victims is presented with the photographs of the victims.
Visitors can use these search engines for archived materials to access memoirs or other materials.

The screen switches automatically from Japanese (adult/child) to English depending on the pamphlet inserted into the slot.

Using these search engines, visitors can find information about missing family members if anyone mentions the missing person’s name in any memoir in the collection.
